A 360⁰ perspective on solar sustainability

European Solar Sustainability Award 2024

SolarPower Europe’s European Solar Sustainability Award 2024 recognises top sustainability performers in the sector for their work to maximise the positive impact of solar on communities, the climate, and environment. The award aims to highlight and share sustainability best practices within the sector – and ultimately take solar forward as the sustainable energy leader.

The European Solar Sustainability Award is a competition that aims to give visibility to top sustainability performers for their use of solar energy as a means to reduce their environmental footprint, and increase sustainability of European projects.

The Solar European Solar Sustainability Award is open to any company, regardless of its size, that carried out remarkable activities in Europe beyond business-as-usual operations to enhance sustainability through the use of solar energy.

Our jury will select three finalists, which will be announced one month before the final. Finalists will have the opportunity to present and pitch their project or initiative to the attendees of Sustainable Solar Europe 2024. Each organisation representative participating in the event will be given the possibility to cast a vote to select the winner. The winner will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Sustainable Solar Europe 2024 event, taking place on 12 December in Brussels.

In addition to receiving the award at the closing ceremony of the event, the winner will also have further visibility opportunities through a feature interview on SolarPower Europe’s website, a press release, and a free advertorial in our monthly newsletter with over 18k+ subscribers.

Companies that are interested in participating in the European Solar Sustainability Award 2024 can submit their application by November 15, 2024, by filling out this form.

The precondition to apply with your project is that the sustainability effort takes place in Europe.

The publication of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) report is an additional precondition for non-small and medium-sized enterprise (non-SME) organisations that are applying for the award.
